So, me. What am I like?
Well, according to my mother, “Bright, charming, and difficult…” Cheers, ma.
I’m Sarah Manning and I’m often found plotting my next adventure. This one is IRONMAN UK, this year taking place on 16th July 2017 in Bolton. For the uninitiated, it comprises a 2.4 mile open water swim, a 112 mile bike ride, and then a 26.2 mile run (yep, a marathon) to finish.
A challenge I set myself before having completed a triathlon.
My mother may have called me bright, but it doesn’t mean I’m not stupid.
When not working, swimming/cycling/running or sleeping, you’ll find me eating, tweeting about eating, or thinking about what I’m going to eat next. I like high heels and comfy sportswear, although not at the same time, that would be weird. Fan of visors and swearing. City girl turned country bumpkin, happiest running around in the mud or curled up in front of a fire. I’m basically a toilet trained, over-enthusiastic puppy, who’ll do almost anything for a medal and a slice of pizza.
